Interislander Optimist Regatta
We’re happy to support the 'Interislander Optimist Challenge' hosted by the Queen Charlotte Yacht Club. Since 2008, this event has been a big deal in New Zealand's youth sailing scene, bringing together young sailors from all over the country.
In 2024 the regatta was held between Thursday 22 and Sunday 25 February.
The Optimist Regatta is the biggest junior event in the South Island and is known as the 'Interislander' in the sailing community.
Held in beautiful Picton, it's not just about sailing skills but also about making friends and showing good sportsmanship. Interislander is proud to help these talented young sailors chase their dreams on the water.
